Developing Leadership for Equality and Diversity

Phil Barnett is qualified to use the Embracing Diversity Questionnaire (EDQ) and the Embracing Diversity Inventory... (EDI)*. These are 360° feedback instruments that assess the extent to which individuals, teams and whole organisations value, manage and promote equality and diversity. An appreciation of diversity is measured with reference to managerial competencies and transformational ways of enacting them. The instruments create development plans and measure change over time following action taken as a result of their use.

This approach is valuable for organisations taking a holistic, strategic, medium to long term approach to transforming their equality and diversity performance and leadership and in using the Race Equality Employment Standards. BACK TO TOP

Equality Impact Assessments

We support colleges and other organisations to undertake equality impact assessments, as they are required by law to do. We take an approach which enables clients to complete impact assessment for race, disability, gender, age, religion and sexual orientation in one unified process, thus avoiding much duplication and unnecessary bureaucracy. * The instruments have been developed by Leadership Research and Development Ltd, a spin off company of Leeds University.
