Association of Colleges - devised and facilitated a national series of seminars to support colleges deliver effective equality impact assessments.

Berkshire LSC – delivered a programme of equality benchmarking for all its learning providers, leading to the upgrading of their equality policies and practice and the establishment of their own EDIMs (equality and diversity impact measures). This supported the LSC’s Performance Review. Delivered a programme of policy/action research leading to recommendations to the LSC and its FE colleges on how to implement the recommendations of the Commission for Black Staff in FE, in the report “Towards a teaching force fit for the 21st century”

Essex LSC - devised and delivered a programme of training in non – discriminatory admissions and recruitment for Work Based Learning providers using GERI (Gender Equality and Race Inclusion) materials.

Gloucestershire LSC - delivered series of keynote inputs to regional conferences on EDIMS

Kent and Medway LSC – researched and wrote “Equality in Action” to showcase good equality and diversity practice in Kent and Medway learning providers

London South LSC – delivered a programme of equality benchmarking and support to all its learning providers and training to its staff on setting EDIMS.

London East LSC – delivered a programme of provider support to all FE, ACL and WBL providers to help them set their own EDIMS, along with a programme of staff training for the LSC .

Ayr College – devised and delivered a whole-staff training programme on equality and diversity as part of the college post inspection action plan.

Berkshire College of Agriculture - devised and delivered 3 staff conferences to initiate staff thinking and action on equality and diversity in preparation for inspection.

Canterbury College – devised and delivered a programme of equality and diversity staff training for staff development week.

Carshalton College - devised and delivered a programme of development work with employers to support them in meeting college and OFSTED equality and diversity requirements.

Coleg Elidyr – produced a report for the college management board setting out a strategy for meeting the equality and diversity recommendations of an inspection report.

East Berkshire College – produced a report for the senior management team setting out a strategy for improving delivery of equality and diversity following an inspection. Produced a report for SMT assessing compliance with 2005 Disability Discrimination Act.

East Riding College – devised and delivered a programme of whole staff and governor training on equality and diversity as part of a post inspection action plan.

Hackney Community College – delivered consultancy on consolidating and editing all college policies and mainstreaming equality and diversity into all policies.

Hertford Regional College – devised and delivering a programme of whole-staff and governor training in equality and diversity.

Stanmore College - devised and delivered governor training and a staff conference on equality and diversity.

The Sixth Form College Solihull - devised and delivered governor training on equality and diversity.

Stoke on Trent College – devised and delivered equality and diversity training for the college senior management team and equality impact assessment training for the college equality committee.

Stourbridge College - devised and delivered governor training on equality and diversity, consultancy on equality impact assessment and input to a staff conference.

Walsall College - delivered consultancy on equality impact assessment, equality policy development and compliance with equality legislation.

West Herts College – worked with the college management team to prepare the college for inspection, concentrating on the development of learner equality targets, integrating equality and diversity into learner and staff induction and disability issues. Provided SMT training on equality impact assessment.

West Thames College – devised and delivered a variety of staff and governor training programmes on race equality and disability.

Chiltern Training – devised and delivered a programme of equality and diversity training for the entire staff.

Tick Tock- devised and delivered a series of workshops for the Berkshire Equal partnership to support it mainstream equality of opportunity and empowerment into its work.

West Berkshire Training Consortium – devised and delivered a programme of equality and diversity training for the entire staff.

Centre for Excellence in Leadership – Led a groundbreaking research project on sexual orientation equality, resulting in the publication of "Equality and sexual orientation - the leadership challenge for further education" by CEL in December 2006. The project surveyed college principals, student representatives and governors and lesbian, gay and bisexual  (lgb) college staff. It held focus groups with lgb staff and learners and one to one interviews with senior college staff. The report can be downloaded from the publications pages of this website. It makes recommendations for effective sector leadership for sexual orientation equality and provides guidance on how to comply with the law

The Community Fund - devised and delivered a programme of equality and diversity training for new staff.

The Department for Constitutional Affairs – devised and delivered a programme of training for the Department’s staff equality networks.

The General Social Care Council – devised and delivered a programme of equality and diversity training for the entire staff of the Council.

Job Centre Plus (London and South East region) – devised and delivered a series of staff conferences on key legal and implementation issues relating to equality and diversity

Network for Black Managers - consultancy on training for those outside the FE sector interested in becoming college governors.

The Runnymede Trust – consultancy and advice on new Runnymede publication, “Complementing Teachers – A Practical Guide to Promoting Race Equality in Schools.”
